A little Brief

Fishing Fiasco is a lighthearted 3D fishing game developed in collaboration with Luca Gortana. The game invites players to explore a whimsical world of floating islands, catch a variety of fish, and complete tasks assigned by other fish, all while building a complete species journal. Inspired by the fishing mechanics of Stardew Valley, the experience focuses on simple, satisfying interactions paired with a playful and relaxed tone.

The development process emphasized building scalable systems and cohesive worldbuilding. The project integrated narrative through an Ink-based dialogue system, custom 3D assets created in Maya, and a modular inventory and fishing system designed for easy iteration.

My contributions spanned level design, core gameplay mechanics, animation, player input handling, shaders, and lighting, while also maintaining and collaborating through GitHub and utilizing structured scene management. The project served as a strong foundation in end-to-end 3D game development and team-based production workflows.

Multiple Biomes

The game features four distinct island biomes, each with unique layouts, lighting, and mood, while maintaining a cohesive visual style. Environmental variation subtly guides exploration and creates a clear sense of progression across the world.
